Upload Tips and Best Practices

For Better Upload Success

Check Your Internet Connection

Large files need stable internet. Upload over WiFi for best results with video files.

Upload Files in Order

For photo guides, upload images in the order people should follow them. You can reorder later if needed.

Wait for Processing

Large videos may take a few minutes to process. Don't close the browser while uploading.

Preview Before Publishing

Always preview your guide to make sure all media uploaded correctly and displays as expected.

Common Upload Issues

File Too Large

If you get a "file too large" error, try these solutions:

  • • Compress the file using your device's built-in tools
  • • Use a lower quality setting when recording video
  • • Trim unnecessary length from video files
  • • Convert to a more efficient format like MP4

Upload Fails or Stops

If uploads fail midway:

  • • Check your internet connection stability
  • • Try uploading one file at a time
  • • Switch to a different network if possible
  • • Clear your browser cache and try again

Video Won't Play in Preview

If your video uploads but won't play:

  • • Wait a few minutes for processing to complete
  • • Try refreshing the preview page
  • • Check if the file format is supported
  • • Re-upload in MP4 format if issues persist
